Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
업데이트:
Saint Vincent registers forex companies but does not supervise them — the single most misunderstood entry on any broker's regulatory page. The brokers below use an SVG entity.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is the jurisdiction most often misread on a broker's regulatory page, and the misreading is expensive. Its Financial Services Authority registers companies. It does not license, supervise or regulate forex business, and it has said so publicly.
What "SVG registered" actually means
The SVG FSA issues a certificate of incorporation to a limited liability company, the same instrument any business receives. It does not review the applicant's capital, its directors, its risk management or its treatment of client money, and it does not conduct inspections. In 2023 the authority went further, requiring forex companies registered there to produce evidence of a licence from another competent regulator — an acknowledgement that registration alone had been used as a substitute for supervision.
So a broker quoting an SVG registration number is quoting a company number. There is no leverage cap because there is no rulebook, no negative balance protection requirement, no client classification, no conduct standards, no complaints mechanism and no investor compensation scheme.
Why brokers use it
Because it is fast, inexpensive and imposes nothing. A number of otherwise reputable groups run an SVG company for clients outside their regulated markets, and some brokers operate through nothing else.
What this means for a trader
Everything rests on the firm's own conduct. Segregation, if practised, is a policy rather than an obligation; withdrawal terms are whatever the client agreement says and can be varied; and a dispute has no regulator to escalate to. That does not make every SVG broker dishonest — several have long records of paying withdrawals — but it does mean the record is the only evidence available.
ProForexBrokers.com's position is straightforward: an SVG entity is a place for a small, deliberately sized speculative account, never for a trader's main capital.
Forex brokers registered in Saint Vincent
Is a broker registered in Saint Vincent regulated?
No. The SVG Financial Services Authority registers companies but does not license or supervise forex business, and has stated this publicly. A registration number is a company number, not a licence.
What protections does an SVG entity provide?
None imposed by the jurisdiction. There is no leverage cap, no mandatory negative balance protection, no conduct rulebook, no complaints mechanism and no compensation scheme. Segregation, where practised, is company policy rather than an obligation.
Why do so many brokers register there?
It is fast, inexpensive and imposes no ongoing requirements. Groups commonly run an SVG company for clients outside their regulated markets; some brokers operate through nothing else.
Should I avoid SVG brokers entirely?
Not necessarily — several have long records of paying withdrawals. But that record is the only evidence available, since no regulator stands behind the account. Treat such an account as a small, deliberately sized speculative position rather than a home for your main capital.
