RoboForex is a forex and CFD broker founded in 2009 and headquartered in Belize, regulated by the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC). It offers multiple trading platforms, a wide range of instruments, and tools for copy trading and automated strategies.

Regulation and security

RoboForex operates under an IFSC (Belize) license, which sets requirements for client security and fair trading, though offshore regulation is generally lighter than in the US, UK, or EU. Client funds are held in accounts segregated from the company's own funds, and the broker applies standard measures to protect clients' personal and financial data.

Trading instruments and platforms

Beyond forex, RoboForex offers stocks, indices, commodities, and CFDs. Trading is available on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and the broker's proprietary R Trader platform, covering a range of experience levels and trading styles.

Account types

RoboForex offers ECN, Standard, Cent, and Prime live accounts alongside a Demo account. Cent accounts let traders open positions with very small amounts, useful for testing strategies with limited capital; ECN accounts give direct market access with competitive spreads and low commissions; Prime accounts target more advanced trading conditions.

Copy trading and automation

CopyFX lets clients automatically copy the trades of other traders. RAMM (Risk Allocation Management Model) combines copy trading with portfolio management, letting investors spread funds across multiple strategies. MT4 and MT5 both support Expert Advisors (EAs) for algorithmic trading, and RoboForex provides VPS hosting so automated strategies keep running without a personal computer left on.

Education and support

RoboForex provides tutorials, webinars, and e-books for beginner and experienced traders, and offers customer support in multiple languages, available 24/7.

Country restrictions

RoboForex does not accept registrations from a number of countries, including Australia, Bonaire, Canada, Curaçao, East Timor, Guinea-Bissau, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Liberia, Micronesia, the Northern Mariana Islands, Russia, Saipan, Sint Eustatius, South Sudan, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Tahiti, Turkey, and the US.

Trading conditions

RoboForex runs several account types on the same liquidity: Pro and Prime trade on marked-up spreads with no commission, ECN and R StocksTrader charge raw spreads plus commission. The Cent account denominates balances in cents, which lets a trader size positions far below a standard micro lot — the practical reason the broker suits a first live account.

Leverage reaches 1:2000 on the offshore entity, which is a function of Belize regulation rather than of any assessment of the client. Scalping, hedging and Expert Advisors are permitted on all account types, and there are no restrictions on holding through news releases.

Stop-out is set at 40% for most account types and 20% on ECN. Positions are closed largest-loss-first once equity falls through it.

Verification

Verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three months — a utility bill, bank statement or official correspondence showing the same name and address as the account profile. RoboForex also requires phone verification before the first deposit is released.

Documents are typically reviewed within one business day. The most frequent rejection is an address document that shows a name in a different transliteration from the passport, which matters for clients whose documents are issued in a non-Latin script.

Frequently asked questions about RoboForex

  • Is RoboForex regulated?

RoboForex Ltd is licensed by the International Financial Services Commission of Belize. This is offshore regulation: it requires segregation of client funds and audited reporting, but carries no leverage cap and no investor compensation scheme comparable to those in the UK or EU.

  • What is the minimum deposit at RoboForex?

There is no fixed minimum on most account types, and the Cent account is designed to be funded with very small amounts. Payment providers apply their own minimums, which are usually the binding constraint.

  • Does RoboForex allow scalping and Expert Advisors?

Yes. Scalping, hedging and automated strategies are permitted on all account types, with no restriction on holding positions through news releases.

  • How long do RoboForex withdrawals take?

Most withdrawals are processed the same business day. E-wallets and cryptocurrency arrive fastest; bank transfers follow normal banking timelines of one to three business days.

  • What leverage does RoboForex offer?

Up to 1:2000 depending on account type and instrument. That level reflects the absence of a leverage cap in Belize rather than a judgement about individual clients, and it raises the risk of a stop-out proportionally.
