DIXIPAY

DixiPay was a small electronic wallet and payment service offering multi-currency accounts and a prepaid card. It reached a limited number of broker cashiers and never achieved the scale of Skrill, Neteller or the regional systems.

Current status

There is no current evidence of the service operating as a live funding route, and it does not appear in the cashiers of active brokers. Where the name survives on a broker's site, it is historical content. Use what the live cashier of your own funded account offers, which is the only accurate statement of what is available to you in your country.

Why small wallets appear and disappear

A payment provider serving brokers needs banking relationships, a licence in a jurisdiction that permits the merchant category, and enough volume to make the compliance cost worthwhile. Small providers routinely lose one of the three. When they do, they stop quietly — there is no announcement, the cashier option simply vanishes, and the marketing pages that listed them are updated last or never.

The practical consequence for a trader is not that the method is risky to use, but that it is risky to depend on:

• A balance held in a small wallet is not segregated client money and carries no compensation cover. It is an unsecured claim on a private company.
• The same-method withdrawal rule ties your payout path to your deposit path. If the corridor closes while your funds are with the broker, the payout becomes a manual case for its finance team.
• Verification cannot be done retroactively. A second withdrawal route needs to be verified while everything still works.

Reading a cashier

A broker's payments page lists everything it has ever supported anywhere. The cashier inside a funded account lists what exists for you today. Only the second one is worth acting on, and a large gap between the two says something about how the rest of the site is maintained.
