FXTM runs Micro, Advantage and Advantage Plus accounts. Advantage is the raw-spread product, and its commission is tiered by monthly volume rather than fixed — a structure that rewards consistent size and is worth modelling against your actual turnover rather than reading off the headline rate.
The Micro account allows small position sizes and a low entry deposit, which makes the broker practical as a first live account.
Entity determines the terms: the CySEC and FCA entities apply 30:1 on major pairs with negative balance protection and Investor Compensation Fund cover up to €20,000 for eligible Cyprus clients; the offshore entity offers higher leverage without either.

Verification requires photo ID and proof of address, with an appropriateness assessment and economic profile questions on the regulated entities. Documents are usually reviewed within one business day.
