Orbex has traded since 2011 and offers tiered accounts on MetaTrader 4, with a substantial research and education output — daily analysis, webinars and market commentary produced in-house.
The CySEC entity applies ESMA limits: 30:1 on major currency pairs, negative balance protection, margin close-out at 50%, with Investor Compensation Fund cover up to €20,000. The Mauritius entity applies none of that and offers higher leverage.
Hedging, scalping and Expert Advisors are permitted.

Verification requires photo ID and proof of address, with an appropriateness assessment and economic profile on the CySEC entity. Documents are usually reviewed within one to two business days.
Confirm which company your client agreement names. The research and education are the same across entities; the protections behind your balance are not.
