Overview

101investing is a forex and CFD broker founded in Cyprus in 2016. It is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and additionally registered with several European regulators, including CNMV (Spain), FI (Sweden), Finanstilsynet (Norway), FSA (Denmark), FMA (Austria), HANFA (Croatia), BaFin (Germany), CONSOB (Italy), and KNF (Poland). The broker does not accept clients from Japan, Canada, Hong Kong, the US, the UK, and some EU countries including Belgium and France.

Regulation and Client Fund Safety

Client funds are held in segregated accounts with top-tier banks. 101investing participates in the CIF compensation scheme, which protects client funds if the broker becomes insolvent.

Leverage and Trading Instruments

Leverage follows MiFID II/ESMA limits for retail clients:

• Major currency pairs: up to 1:30
• Other currency pairs and stock indices: up to 1:20
• Commodities and energy: up to 1:10
• Stocks: up to 1:5
• Cryptocurrencies: up to 1:2

Professional traders can access higher leverage: up to 1:200 on currency pairs, 1:50 on commodities, energy and stock indices, and 1:10 on stocks. The broker offers over 350 CFDs across forex, cryptocurrencies, commodities, stocks, and indices.

Trading Platform

101investing runs on MetaTrader 4 (MT4), available as a Windows desktop application, web terminal, and mobile app.

Account Types

1. Silver: average EURUSD spread of 2.2 pips.
2. Gold: average EURUSD spread of 1.3 pips, 25% swap discount.
3. Platinum: average EURUSD spread of 0.7 pips, 50% swap discount, free VPS.
4. Pro: leverage up to 1:500, spreads from 0.03 pips, faster execution.

An Islamic (swap-free) account is available on all account types.

Minimum Deposit and Payment Methods

The minimum deposit is $100. Accepted methods include bank transfer, Visa/Mastercard, and the Skrill and Neteller e-wallets.
